At Rivertrail Foods, we know you want to enjoy your delicious selections immediately, and we aim to please. Most ground orders will ship within 24 hours of being placed. Expedited orders placed on Saturdays and Sundays will ship the following Monday.  

Mountain Man utilizes United Parcel Service (UPS) and US Mail (USPS Priority, Express, Flat Rate).

Please remember that UPS cannot deliver to a PO Box, no matter how badly you might want them to. It is a standard practice of UPS to leave a parcel on your doorstep if you are not at home when they attempt delivery. If you are not comfortable with this practice, please leave us instructions in the Comments section of your order or leave a note on your door with instructions for the driver. You may also want to consider having your order shipped to a local UPS Store where you can go in and pick up the package at your convenience.

 

Heat Sensitive Products

Some of our products are heat sensitive such as our chocolates. Without protective shipping or expedited shipping your product has a high chance of melting in warm temperatures. While Rivertrail Foods recommends using the Protective Shipping option anytime temperatures are above 70 degrees, we understand that this involves extra expense and for that reason we leave this to the discretion of the customer with most items. Rivertrail Foods cannot guarantee the condition that your chocolate will arrive in if you do not choose the Protective Shipping option.

Warning: Midwest, Coastal and Desert Regions are NOT guaranteed to arrive in an un-melted state. Trucks and warehouses are are not cooled, so we cannot prevent melting when shipping to states that are 85+ degrees.
